Joan M. Krug, 58, of 7181/2 Ries St., died at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque, after a short illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Resurrection Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., where there will be a parish wake service at 4 p.m.

She was formerly employed at Aladdin Laundry.

She born was on June 2, 1944, in Dubuque, daughter of Peter A. and Stella M. (Ruden) Krug.

Joan enjoyed cooking and baking.

Surviving are a daughter, Tammy J. Krug, of Dubuque; her mother, Stella M. Krug, of Dubuque; three sisters, Carol A. (James) Kluesner, of Farley, Iowa, and Donna M. Krug and Vicki A. Krug, both of Dubuque; a brother, Donald J. (Denise) Krug, of Dubuque; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Peter A. Krug, on Nov. 30, 1983; a brother, James F. Krug, on April 9, 1953; a niece, Cynthia M. Krug, on July 16, 1971; a nephew, Gerald J. Kluesner, on Nov. 8, 1982; and a great-niece, Christian A. Kluesner, on March 7, 2001.
