David J. Jutson, 61, of 3104 Pasadena Court, Unit 24, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, at The Finley Hospital.

Private burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home, 1640 Main St.

Mr. Jutson was an electrician at John Deere Dubuque Works for 25 years, retiring in 1999.

He was born on April 29, 1941, in Chicago. He was adopted when he was 18 months old by Samuel and Marie Jutson. He married Sandra Slattery on July 19, 1969, in San Diego, Calif.

David was a Vietnam Navy veteran, having served from 1959 to 1969. He was a member of Local 94, and the Dubuque Electric League. He was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle rider and a member of A.B.A.T.E.. He loved to play slot machines and was a loyal NASCAR fan.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra; a son, David (and his friend, Corrie) Jutson, of Dubuque; a sister-in-law, Sally Schrobilgen, of Dubuque; and two nephews, Jamie and Jon Schrobilgen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Joy, on Oct. 14, 2000.
