Patricia L. "Pat" Heiberger

Patricia L. "Pat" Heiberger, 66, of 3419 Sunset Park Circle, died Thursday, July 16, 2009, at home.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 20, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, where friends may call after 9 a.m. Monday. Private family burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. The Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road, is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on Sept. 18, 1942, in Dubuque, daughter of Kathryn (Kass) Heiberger.

Pat worked as a waitress and bartender at several establishments, including El Rancho, the Chateau Supper Club, Duffy's, Rings Restaurant, the Bar X and the Dodge House. She most recently served as a sales associate at Wal-Mart.

Pat was a very generous and loving person who's greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed bingo and computer games.

Surviving are two sons, John Heiberger, of Denver, and Clinton "Clint" (Amber) Heiberger, of Dubuque; a brother, Al (Bonnie) Heiberger, of Dubuque; three sisters, Betty Heiberger and Mary (Claudio) Vargas, both of Dubuque, and Sandy (Joseph) Bockes, of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Brandon Klein, Victoria Glotfelty, Damien and Arien Heiberger; and special friends, Jean Patterson and Kim Baumgartner.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathryn; and her grandparents, John and Susan Kass and Elizabeth and Albert Heiberger.

A Patricia Heiberger Memorial Fund has been established.
