Thomas L. Gulick, 67, of 17397 Melody Circle, died at 5:40 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2003, at home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Siegert-Didesch Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave., where there will be a wake service at 6:30 p.m.

Mr. Gulick retired from the phone company in 1985 after almost 30 years of service.

He was born on Jan. 24, 1936, in Dubuque, son of Floris and Rose (Pasbach) Gulick. He married Carol Callahan on June 14, 1958, at St. Raphael's Cathedral.

He graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 1954. He served with the Marine Corps from 1954 to 1956. He was a member of Holy Ghost Parish.

Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Carol; a daughter, Angela M. Gulick, of Champaign, Ill.; four sons, Christopher T. Gulick of Guam, Mark G. (Peggy) Gulick, of Spirit Lake, Iowa, Steven J. (Tina) Gulick, of Dyersville, Iowa, and Michael J. Gulick, of Dubuque; five grandchildren, Hannah, Madeline, Catherine and John Gulick and Lauren Frigo; special nephews and niece, Brian Schuster, of Ames, Iowa, Christopher Schuster, of Notre Dame, Ind., Kate Schuster, of Decorah, Iowa, two brothers, Robert Gulick, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Jim Gulick, of Dubuque; and a sister, Diane Kennedy, of Potosi, Wis.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Rosemary Meyer; two brothers, William Gulick and Brother John Gulick, OFM.
