Dubuquer Dead in Badger Crash

A Dubuque woman became Grant County's 14th 1958 traffic fatality Sunday, when the car she was riding in missed a curve ion County Trunk "H" and rolled in the ditch five miles wase of Cuba City, Wis.

Mrs. Arthus A. Blichmann, 54, 1916 Grace, died instantly at 3:30 p.m. crushed beneath the wreckage.

The driver, Vincent Kiefer, 51, 1499 Bluff, was taken to the CUba City Medical Center. He was reported in "fair" condition Monday with shock, head cuts, and a broken right arm.

Grant County Sheriff Robert Seemeyer, on the scene a few monutes after the accident, said apparently the car was traveling too fast as it entered the turn.

Services for Mrs. Blichmann will be at 2:30 p.m. Tueaday at the Haudenshield Funeral Home 2170 Central, where friends my call after 7 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.

She was born at Dyersville, daughter of Louis and Anna Leib, and resided in Dubuque the ast 44 years.
Survivors are her husband, three sons, Richard, Dubuque, Dale, Kingsford, Mich., and Robert, Chicago; her mother, Mrs. Anna Leib, Dubuque; three sisters, Mrs. Harold (Myrtle) Glew, Waterloo, Ia., Mrs. Vern (Lucille) Coomber, Freeport, Ill., and Mrs. Edmund (Pearl) Didesch, Dubuque, and a brother, Harold Leib, Elkader, Ia.
