Mrs. Lucy Galliart, 86, Peosta, widow of John
Galliart, died at 4:35 am Thursday at Finley
Hospital after an extended illness.
Friends may call after 7:30 PM Thursday at the
Haudenshield funeral home, 2170 Central Ave..
Services will be there at 2:00 PM Saturday.
Burial will be in the Centralia Presbyterian
Cemetery.
Mrs. Galliart was born Nov. 19, 1866, in Center
township, Dubuque County. She had lived in Dubuque County all her life.
She was a member of the Centralia Presbyterian
Church and its Ladies Aid Society.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. V. G. (Rose)
Lindenberg, Dubuque; Mrs. Lyle E. (Barbara) Birt, Toronto, Ia.; and Mrs. Leo (Lucia) Behnke, Turkey
River, Iowa; four sons, John and Clarence Galliart
both of Peosta, and Andrew and Earl Galliart, both
of Dubuque; and 15 grandchildren; and 13 great
grandchildren. Her husband died Feb. 11, 1912.
Two daughters also preceded her.
