Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1920, Mrs. Jessie Stanton passed out of this life at Oakdale Hospital, where she spent the last few months in the hope of regaining her health, but the final summons came on the above date.

Laura Jessie Denlinger, was born on the old home farm, one mile north of Zwingle forty eight years ago, and was the youngest daughter of the late Christian Denlinger and wife. She was married to Daniel Stanton twenty eight years ago and they made their home in Dubuque during that time. Her husband died three years ago, and two years ago their daughter Miss Irma and last fall their son Harold. One little daughter, Ethel, survives. Mrs. Stanton’s funeral was held from the Third Presbyterian church in Dubuque, Thursday afternoon interment was made in Linwood cemetery.

Will Denlinger and Mrs. Margaret Bradley brother and sister of the deceased attended her funeral, Mrs. Bradley was with her sister during the last few days of her life; also her little daughter Ethel.
