Leona M. Fetgatter, 79, of Ennoble Manor, formerly of 9380 Massey Marina Road, died at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008.

Private family services will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. The Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is in charge of arrangements.

Leona was born on June 7, 1928, in Prairie du Chien, Wis., daughter of William and Anna (Bily) Chaunt. She married Daniel Fetgatter on Jan. 1, 1949, in Centralia, Iowa; he preceded her in death on April 11, 2000.

Leona was a great homemaker and worked at the former Janlin Plastic Co.

Surviving are a son, Steve Fetgatter, of Dubuque; seven daughters, Patricia (David) Hefel, of Sherrill, Barbara Stillmunkes, of Dubuque, Elaine (Danny) Hoffman, of Orlando, Fla., Paula (Terry) Outcalt, of Galena, Ill., Karen Fetgatter, of Dubuque, Susan (George) Weston, of Silverdale, Wash., and Sherry (Ken) Driscoll, of Dubuque; 23 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four sisters; and a brother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; and three sisters.

Thank-you to Dr. Philip Leeson the staff of Ennoble Manor and to Hospice of Dubuque for all the loving care that they gave to our mother and grandmother.
