Sydney E. Miller

Sydney E. "Sid" Miller, 79, of 2760 Muscatine, died at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, at home.

Per Sid's request, there will be no public services or visitation. The Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on April 30, 1928, in Dubuque, son of Ralph and Violet Miller. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Leibfried on Sept. 1, 1948, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Rickardsville, Iowa.

Surviving are his wife, Betty; a daughter, Beverly (Mark Siegworth) Miller, and her two sons, Maxwell Miller and Ross Miller; a son, Bob (Lynn) Miller, and their three sons, David (Elena) Miller, Thomas Miller and Daniel Miller; and three great-grandchildren, Luke, Cole and Grace, all of Dubuque.
