New Vienna -- George W. Vorwald, 81, died Sunday morning at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Boniface Catholic Church, New Vienna, burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville after 7 p.m. Monday, where Rosary will be recited Tuesday night.

Surviving are his wife, Clara; a son, Kenneth, at home; a daughter, Mrs. James (Alice) Oberbroeckling, Troy Mills, Ia.; four step-children, Bernice Reagan, Davenport, Ia.; Arthur Heying, New Vienna; and Louis and Walter Heying, both of Dubuque; and three grandchildren.
