James Bennett

Sunday evening about half-past 6 o'clock James Bennett, a resident of Dubuque for the past thirty years, died at his residence between Jones and Dodge streets in his 75th year. A wife and four children are left to mourn his loss. Several years ago he was employed on the ferry boat plying between this city and East Dubuque but of late years, owing to advancing age, has been unable to work very much. He was buried yesterday afternoon in Key West.
