Jacob N. Becker Goes To His Reward

Mr. Jacob N. Becker passed away Thursday morning at the family residence, 138 Kniest street. The deceased was born in Germany July 28, 1846 and came to Dubuque fifty years ago.

He is survived by his widow and the following children, Mrs. Amanda Meyer, Miss Clara, Mrs. William H. G. Faust, Lodi, Cal.; Mrs. B. H. Harmes, Sacramento, Cal.; Mrs. F. G. Schmitt, Milwaukee; Mrs. H. A. Welty, Spokane, Wash.

The funeral will take place Saturday morning from the family residence to St. Mary's church at nine o'clock. The burial will be private at Mt. Calvary. It is requested of the family that no flowers be sent.

Mr. Becker was one of the city's esteemed residents, whose death is a loss to his family and the community of which he was for many years an honored member.
