Lulu Mae Blichmann

Lulu Mae Blichmann, 104, formerly of Mount Horeb, Wis., and Dubuque, died Monday, April 10, 2006, at Oakwood Village West, Madison, Wis.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 20, at Ellestad Funeral Home, 500 N. Eighth St., Mount Horeb, with the Rev. Jackie Sharer-Robertson officiating. A private burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery, Dubuque, on Lulu's birthday, May 23.

She was born on May 23, 1901, in Dubuque, daughter of Lewis Beckett and Elizabeth Boucher Beckett. She married John Blichmann on Oct. 29, 1932; he preceded her in death in 1957.

After living in Dubuque for more than 80 years, Lulu moved to Mount Horeb to be near relatives.
Surviving are many nieces, nephews, and great and great-great-nieces and nephews.
