MRS. MARGARET PURCELL

Mrs. Margaret Purcell, 391 Southern avenue, died Sunday evening at 11:45 o'clock at Mercy Hospital following a short illness.

She was born in Toledo, Ohio, May 2,1865, and came to Dubuque shen she was a child. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Cain, pioneers of this city. She was married at the Cathedral, Nov. 11, 1885, to Phillip Purcell, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are one son, Phillip Purcell, Dubuque; two brothers, Thomas Cain and Matt Cain; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lee and Miss Nellie Cain, all of Dubuque.

She was a member of St. Raphael's Cathedral.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning from the Bennett and Ashworth funeral home to St. Raphael's Cathedral at 9 o'colck, with burial in Mount Olivet cemetery.
