On Wednesday the marriage of Miss Lillian Farley and Mr. Fred M. Ternes was solemnized by Father J. J. Hanley, pastor of St. Patrick’s Church. Following the ceremony a wedding supper was served at the home of the bride’s parents on Fifteenth Street, the home being attractively decorated in cut flowers and ferns. The immediate relatives were guests at the wedding. The bride wore an attractive gown of white charmeuse trimmed in Princess Lace and a bridal veil and carried Easter lilies. The bride is the charming daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Farley and is most deservedly popular young woman. Mr. Ternes is a son of Postmaster and Mrs. Ternes and holds a responsible position with the Myers Construction Co. at Chicago.
The out of town guests at the ceremony were Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Howard and son, Joseph, of Des Moines, Mr. Joseph Meng of Des Moines.
