An October Mating

The society event of the fall season in our neighboring town of Zwingle was the wedding of Dr. John F. Ritter, of Worthington, to Miss Cynthia Cort, Wednesday afternoon at 5 o’clock. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. F. C. Bauman, in the presence of a large concourse of relatives and friends. Much importance has been attached to this event, owing to the prominence of both young people, who are very popular and highly connected.

Miss Cort is a daughter of Albert Cort, and a niece of the late Hon. Daniel Cort. She is a winsome and amiable young lady, who possesses many rare accomplishments.

Dr. John F. Ritter, the groom, is a son of Jared Ritter, who now resides at Clear Lake. Dr. Ritter was born and spent his boyhood days in Cascade, and his friends here are legion. Last June he graduated from the medical department of the University of Michigan with honor and distinction, and shortly after located in Worthington, where by his talent and popularity he has forged to the front nd is building up a nice practice.
