The Dubuque Times of Wednesday says: “Wm. L. Bradley and others, yesterday perfected the purchase, and took possession of the Lorimier House for the sum of $25,500 cash, as soon as the deeds are all delivered. The property belonged to Mrs. Dr. Bowers, of Cresco, Iowa, Mrs. J. J. Lambert of Pueblo, Col., and the heirs of Mrs. Mills. Thomas Connolly represented Mrs. Mills and Mrs. Bowers.

It is the intention of the purchasers to make many improvements on the building, and put an elevator in it. They propose expending about $10,000 in these improvements. They design making it a first-class hotel in all respects.”
