Auditor Merriam Marries
Dubuque Times:—It may perhaps be a surprise to the people of Iowa to learn that Frank Merriam, state auditor, led Mrs. C. H. Day to hymen’s altar in Michigan, one day last week. Mr. Merriam’s home is at Hopkinton, Delaware county, and his bride was formerly a resident of Dubuque. She was the widow of C. H. Day, who, for some time was secretary of the Dubuque Business Men's league, and was deputy state auditor until his death a few months ago. Mrs. Day was quite prominent in society, both here and at Des Moines. The bride is also well known in Manchester, where she resided for several years before coming to Dubuque.
