The Steamer Berlin
This small, fast, neat steamer, from the upper country, is now plying between this city and Galena from all we can learn. We judge that the boat is of sufficient capacity to do the business at present, between the two places. We understand the boat is to have the contract from Frink Walker & Co., for carrying the mail.
Our citizens ought to feel some interest in this enterprise, as it will help to relieve our neighbors on the Bay, of a large portion of the immigration and travel, which is compelled to remain there a longer time than is generally desirable, for want of a conveyance to escape.
