ST. MARY’S CHURCH ORGAN – The mammoth organ designed for St. Mary’s Church, arrived safely in Dunleith last Saturday and was shipped over to Dubuque yesterday, making seven heavy loads for the transfer wagons. A number of persons volunteered their assistance, and to Messrs. Parker, Martin and Heeb, in particular, the committee returns their thanks. The builder of the organ, Mr. Hook, was expected, last evening, and but a few days must elapse before its majestic tones will be heard resounding up the broad aisles of St. Mary’s Church.
