A MAGNIFICENT INSTRUMENT – Mr. A. A. Cooper has delighted his family with - we may assert it without fear of contradiction – the finest piano in Iowa. It is a Chickering parlor grand, 7-3/4 octaves, made to his special order. For purity of tone, power of sweetness, it equals the best that Chickering has ever sent out. In this respect it cannot be surpassed, while its beautiful casing, with its artistic carvings and molding, chastely heightened with delicate lines of gilding, attracts the eye as readily as its rich tones does for the ear. The instrument braces all the latest improvements and novelties in design, and is a credit to maker and owner. Its price at the factory was $1,000, and was procured through Mrs. A. Grippin, a lady who has favorably represented the Chickerings in this city and throughout Iowa.
