Falls Over a Precipice and is Killed
From Farley comes word that a quarryman, named James Black, has fallen over the embankment at a deserted quarry, falling a distance of thirty feet on the rocks, and was so severely injured that he died. It is reported that he was in an intoxicated condition, and walked over the embankment, thinking he was going towards his home, and sure enough he did walk towards his home. The accident must have happened sometime in the night, as he was not discovered until 9 o’clock yesterday morning. He was living when found, but was in an unconscious state, and died a couple of hours later. He leaves a wife and four children.
