Capt. Hale, who formerly ran the steamer Pearl, and is well known here, is loading a barge at the foot of 5th Street with 80,000 bricks from the Platt’s yard. They are designed for the building of the tower of the German Catholic Church in Galena, of which city the Capt. is now a resident.
