Phillip McManus, with Poole, Gillman & Co., is rejoicing in the birth of a son Monday morning. He did not inquire the weight, as is usual, but that doesn’t matter. If he lives and prospers, which we hope he may, and takes after his father, he will be heavy enough for all practical purposes by the time he is grown.
