Linda McCann
Repeats VowsPotosi, Wis. - The Rev. Lawrence Reynolds was the officiating clergyman at the Saturday marriage of Miss Linda McCann of Dubuque and Lawrence J. Reynolds. The couple exchanged vows at 9:30 a.m. in St. Thomas Church.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Gerald Fishnick of Potosi and Cyril McCann of Cleveland, Ohio. The bridegroom’s parents are Mrs. And Mrs. Lawrence Reynolds Sr. of Potosi.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride approached the altar in an embroidered gown of nylon. The long sleeved basque bodice topped a voluminous skirt of cascading nylon ruffles.
A jeweled crown caught the fingertip veil of illusion and she carried a bouquet of red roses, valley lilies and mums on a white prayer book.
Miss Karen Kirschbaum of Dubuque attended her cousin as maid of honor with Miss Diane McCann of Potosi, sister of the bride, as bridesmaid.
The attendants wore identical gowns of lace over tafetta with sweetheart necklines and harem skirts. Veiled velvet headpieces and fans of matching mums completed their ensembles.
Charles Kenyon served as Bridegroom’s best man with William Reynolds, a brother of the bridegroom, as groomsman. Seating the guests were Dennis McCann and Robert Reynolds, brothers of the couple.
A wedding at the Potosi Steak House was followed by a reception for 350 guests at the VFW.
