NO BROKEN BONES
BOY IS HIT BY CARHarry Kelly, an 8 year old boy residing 481 1/2 Locust Street suffered a number of severe bruises when he was struck by an automobile driven by F. Cook, 510 Angella Street, at the intersection of West Locust and Angella Streets shortly before 6 o’clock Friday evening. He was taken to Mercy Hospital, where an examination showed there were no broken bones, after which he was returned to his home.
Cook driving north of West Locust, turned into Angella Street and his car struck the Kelly boy, who was walking across Angella Street, according to the police report of the accident. A charge of careless driving was placed against Cook by police and his hearing continued to a later date.
