ADDITION TO HOTEL
~
DINING ROOM OF WALES
WILL BE ENLARGED BY
NEW BUILDING
~
Extensive improvement will be made on the Wales Hotel during the spring and the summer. The first work to be done will be an addition at the west side of the hotel. Mr. Wales has engaged an architect to draw plans for a two story addition of brick. Work will be commenced as soon as the plans are finished and the weather permits.

The first floor of the new building will be used as a room where the baggage of the guests will be unloaded and kept until the porters remove it to sample rooms. The second floor will be utilized as a kitchen. When the building is completed the culinary department will be located in it and the room now used as a kitchen will be made an addition to the dining room. The partition will be taken out and a new floor laid and other improvements made which will give the hotel one of largest dining rooms of any hotel in the state.

“We have crowded in our dining room for some time,” said Mr. Wales, “and must have more room, this is the first improvement we will make but others will follow.”
