Married on the 20th of May, at the residence of the bride’s mother, by Rev. J. A. Reed, Mr. Peter Kiene, Jr. to Miss Carrie M. Busby, all of Dubuque City.

Good luck to you Peter. May fortune smile upon you and yours. May your life be a continued honeymoon, and when old, age shall have come, may you call blessed the day when you first found your charming Carried. Cousin Peter, you took us unawares, and you shall be forgiven when upon our knees at least one little Peter and he must be an exact “copy” of yourself, “set-up” in the best shape, a “clean proof” and the “form” well “locked up.”
