Marriage of Marian Bartels and John W. Schwendinger

MARRIED

Miss Marian Bartels, daughter of Henry W. Bartels, of Route 2, Dubuque, was married to John W. Schwendinger, son of John F. Schwendinger, of Epworth, Saturday at Ontario, Calif.

The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schwendinger, brother and sister-in-law of the bridegroom.

The bride is a graduate of Senior High School and of Bayless Business College, and for the past six years has been employed by Marine Corps headquarters, Washington, D. C.

The bridegroom was graduated from the Epworth High School and also from Bayless Business College. He served 4 years in the army and is at present engaged in the cafe business at Epworth. He and his bride will live in Epworth when they return from the west coast.
