MEETING OF MINERS

The lead miners and smelters of Dubuque and vicinity will meet in the large Globe Hall today at 2 o'clock, to complete the arrangements for joining the Humboldt celebration on Tuesday next. Ample preparations have been made to display the mining interest in fine style. It is expected that over 500 miners will be present to show the lead interest is one of the important sources of wealth in Dubuque county.
