The DUBUQUE HERALD says: Our readers are probably by this time acquainted with the particulars of the loss of the steamship Hibernia, which sunk off the Irish coast. Among the passengers was Mrs. Webb of Dubuque, wife of Harry Webb, the carpenter. She left Dubuque a few weeks ago, en route for England, her native land, to receive a portion of a legacy left by a deceased relative. The cable reports mention of the names of those saved, among which was Mrs. Webb. Her friends will be glad to learn of her fortunate escape from a watery grave.
