Elections in Jackson and Dubuque counties.

We are informed by a gentlemen from the north, that Col. Cox and Gen. Gehon, or S. Hempstead are elected to the Council from this District-all Democrats. In Jackson county, Ansel Briggs, (dem.) is elected to the House, and it was reported that Thomas Rogers,(dem.) of Dubuque, and Dr. Andrews, (dem.) of Clayton county, were chosen members of the House of Representatives
