Barn Burned at Fillmore
One of the barns on the farm of Michael Gordon, near Fillmore, was destroyed by fire at an early hour last Friday morning. A tramp is suspected of causing the blaze, as an unknown man was seen hurrying across the field from the direction of the barn about the time the fire broke out. Mr. Gordon has another large new barn near where the old one stood, and it took some earnest and steady work to save it from the destructive flames. In the burned barn were stored some hay, corn and farm machinery, all of which was destroyed. A small amount of insurance was on the property.
