At Mercy Hospital last Friday the twelve year old son of Mr. P. Meloy of Washington Mills, underwent a delicate operation for the removal of a tumor above the eyeball which was rapidly growing and threatened to force the eye from the socket. The operation was successfully performed by Dr. Heustis, Brownson and Fowler.
