John J. Wilson was born in Broom County, New York, July 18, 1828; John Jeffry Wilson was one of eight children. He was married in 1857 to Marietta (Martha) Adamson in Staber County, New York; The Wilson’s arrived in Farley about 1870. John was a cabinet maker. Martha, born on June 15, 1831, died Dec. 22, 1891. John J. died Nov. 14, 1908 at age 80 years. Both are buried at Fairview Cemetery. The Wilson’s had two children: James, born in New York in 1852 and Mary, born in Wisconsin in1876
