Louis Willenbring (1893-1993) and Josephine Recker (1895-1978) were married Feb. 11, 1919. After their marriage they bought the Soppe farm one mile west of Farley. They lived there until their retirement in 1948. They retired to Dyersville, Iowa. Children born to this union: Donald F. and Elmer J.

In 1939 they farmed the Duffy farm which was across the road from their original farm.
