Joseph Simon (1882-1958) was the son of Nicholas and Mary Ann (Reiter) Simon married Anna Schmitt (1887- 1938) at Holy Cross Catholic Church on April 26, 1910. Born to this union were six children: George, Ray, Marie, Florence, Francis and Joseph. They farmed in the area across from St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Two sons, George and Joseph, remained in this area.
