Mr. H. F. “Orrin” Byerly operated a photograph gallery in Farley. Mr. Byerly was a brother of P. M. Byerly, also of Farley. Orrin moved from town in 1877 to Parkersburg. He died from complications from Bright’s disease on Sept. 25, 1902 at the age of 68. Mr. Byerly’s body was brought back to Farley for burial at Fairview. Mrs. Harriett Ross Byerly, wife of H. F., later died at the home of her daughter at New English, Iowa in Dec. 1908.
