SHOOTING IN DUBUQUE-A murderous attack upon J. B. Dorr, was made last Monday, by one MULKERN, Prosecuting Attorney of Dubuque County. The cause, so far as we learn by the papers, are these; Sometime since a young lady was seduced by a citizen of that place, and the parties in trying to cover up the first crime, created others, of which the Express & Herald made an expose, using no name, but where crime exists shoes generally pinch. MULKERN, being one of the guilty part, went to the sanctum of J. B. Dorr and fired at him three times with a revolver, but without doing any damage, saving bruising some of the fine finish in his office. MULKERN was bound d over in the sum of $1,000 to appear at next term of Court.
