The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, March 22, 1878

The Dubuque Herald says that the Diamond Jo fleet is fast approaching completion. The steamers Josephine and Diamond Jo are now receiving their propelling wheels, and finishers are rapidly putting on the last decorative strokes. The Imperial is to be overhauled, and will receive a new cabin. The hull of a new boat built on the Ohio River is to be brought to Dubuque to be finished. The Company (Jo Reynolds) will have a sufficient number of first class steamers to form a daily line between St. Paul and Burlington, and it may possibly reach St. Louis.
