Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Jungk, well known Dubuquers, quietly celebrated their fifty-fifth wedding anniversary with their children in their home, 1509 Jackson Street.

Mrs. Junk was born in Dubuque seventy-five years ago and her husband recently celebrated his eightieth birthday anniversary. Despite their advanced ages they are enjoying excellent health. Mr. Jungk established the Jungk bakery over a half a century ago.

The celebrants have two sons, Carl and Leo, both of Dubuque, four daughters, Mrs. John Stecher, Mrs. John Davidsaver, Miss Elizabeth and Miss Anna Jungk, all of this city, twenty-seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

The celebrants were married in St. Patrick Church by the Rev. Father Ryan.
