The marriage of Miss Marie Gregorie Sullivan formerly of Dubuque and Des Moines, and Mr. J. L. McCabe, took place on New Year’s Eve at 8:30 o’clock at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Minneapolis.

A reception followed at West Hotel. The club room of the West was banked with ferns and white chrysanthemums and the table was decked in deep red carnations with large bows of red satin ribbon and maiden hair ferns.

The bride’s maids were Miss Belle Jackson and Miss Belle Donaldson.

Miss Jackson was gowned in a white French lawn over white silk and wore a shoulder veil, and carried a pink showery bouquet.

Miss Donaldson was gowned in white mull over white silk and wore a shoulder veil, and carried a showery bouquet of pink roses.

Following the bridesmaids, Miss Margaret Jeffers, Chicago, and maid of honor, entered. Miss Jeffers was gowned in white lace over white silk, and wore a shoulder veil, and carried a showery bouquet of pink roses. Little Ethel Barrell, the flower girl, entered next and was gowned in white Swiss and carried a basket of Lillies of the Valley. Next entered the bride with her cousin, H. L. Preston, St. Paul, who met the groom and best man, Mr. A. W. Ferring of Dubuque at the altar.

The bride’s gown was of white silk crepe du che-e, over white silk with trimming of real lace, wearing a long veil over the face and carried white bride’s roses.

Mr. Babcock, Minneapolis, played the wedding march, and through the ceremony played “Hearts and Flowers.”

Miss Adella Goodman, from Des Moines, sang two selections.

Out of town guests were: Miss Adella Goodman, Des Moines, Miss Jeffers, of Chicago, Miss Nan and Helen Holland, of Boston, Miss Sinclair, of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. P. S. Preston, of Bismark, N. D., Mr. Wilson, St. Paul, Miss Stanton, Appleton, Minn., Mr. Valle Sullivan, Aberdeen, S. D., A. W. Ferring, W. Caseary, and Mr. and Mrs. McCabe, Dubuque.

Mr. and Mrs. McCabe will be at home at the Hotel Wales after January 5th, Dubuque, Iowa.
