GLAB’S GOOD START
~
NEW JUSTICE PERFORMS TWO
MARRIAGES FIRST DAY IN OFFICE
~
Justice John Glab began his term today by performing two marriage ceremonies within a few hours after he resumed his office. At 2 o’clock this afternoon Miss Katie Joachim of Elkport and Herman Kortemeyer of Dubuque were united in marriage by the Justice. This being his first marriage Justice Glab presented the bride with a large bouquet of carnations. The couple will reside in this city where the groom is employed.

At 2:30 o’clock Miss Josie Sinclair and J. W. Woodhall, both of Ashborn, Mo., were joined in wedlock. The bride is particularly prepossessing young lady and was attired in fashionable raiment. She is 19 years old and the groom is 26. The latter gave his occupation as an overseer. The couple came to this city and took out a marriage license and went straight to the office of the justice.
