Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Murphy Adopt
Infant Son of a Dead Relative

Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Murphy arrived home today from Petone, Ill., where they were called to attend the funeral of Mrs. J. M. White, a relative, who died at that place on New Year’s morning. Mr. Murphy and wife brought back with them the little infant son of the dead woman, which was born only three days before her death, and they have kindly consented to raise the little child, a task which few person indeed would care to undertake, especially after rearing a family of their own.
