Caught in a Saw
~
Fred Koeck, aged 17 years, met with a painful accident while working at the Farley Loetscher Company planing mill Saturday afternoon. He was busy with his duties and while passing a circular saw his hand brushed against it. The saw was in motion at the time and three fingers were torn from the right hand. A surgeon was called and the young man’s injuries dressed. Three of the fingers were taken from the hand and another finger was rendered useless. The young man lives on West Third Street.
