Capt. W. J. Cantillion says that his wife, who had an operation for appendicitis performed two days ago, is in a very precarious condition, and that she cannot recover. She is extremely weak. She is also afflicted with cancer. This will be sad news to a large number of friends in Dubuque and throughout the county.
