A MORNING RECEPTION
~
The Presentation Convent Scene
Of a Very Impressive Event
This Forenoon.
~
The chapel in the convent of the presentation nuns was the scene of two impressive services this morning, the reception and presentation of two young women into the order. Mass was celebrated by Rev. J. Fogarty at 7:30 o’clock who was assisted in the services by Rev. Fathers Pelkert, O’Donnell of this city, and Reilly of Elkader. Both young women who have given up their lives to labor in the Lord’s vineyard formerly resided at Elkader, Ia. Miss Julia Lynch who was professed on the occasion of the ceremonies this morning will be known in religion as Sister Delores.

Miss Julia Daley was formerly received into the order and will be known as Sister Immaculata. She is a highly cultured young woman and an accomplished musician. The chapel and altars were handsomely decorated for the occasion in palms and flowers.
