Thief Society Holds a Meeting
and Elects Officers

The annual meeting of the Dubuque County Mutual Horse Thief Association was held in this city Saturday. This is one of the old time organizations which was formed many years ago, and still keeps up, meeting once a year to transact business. The report shows that nothing happened in the county during the year to demand their attention. A vigilance committee looks after any complaints made to the society. The officers elected are as follows:
President – John Prier
Vice President – Thomas Cousins
Secretary - J. T. Daykin
Treasurer – J. R. Miller
