WORK IS FINISHED
~
Interior of St. Anthony’s Catholic
Church Beautiful and
Embellished
~
The interior of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church has been in the hands of the decorators for the past three weeks. Frank Hamel, the well-known plasterer, of this city has completed his work that included putting in all the ornamental stucco work that was furnished by Valentine Grainor, an altar builder of Chicago. The work has been done most artistically and the interior of the new edifice presents a truly beautiful appearance. It is to be hoped that the day is not far distance when the floors and ceilings will be covered with fresco. The people who have contributed so generously to the completion of the church are justly proud of its beauty. Rev. Father O’Malley, the pastor is highly pleased with the work, and is particularly grateful to those who made it possible to be done.

Sherman & Flavin, of Chicago, are now at work with a force of men on the mortuary chapel at the Cathedral.
