A Fight in Dyersville Results in the
Arrest of Mayor Friedman
Of That Place

The little city of Dyersville is again stirred up, this time over a pugilistic encounter between Frank Faha, a well-known resident and business man, of that place, and L.A. Friedman, the mayor of the town. It appears that a bad felling has existed between the men for some time which yesterday culminated in a fight. Mr. Faha had a warrant issued for the arrest of the mayor and Joe Kaufman, the deputy sheriff, went out yesterday evening and made the arrest. Mr. Friedman gave bail for his appearance before Justice Carney in the city tomorrow, where the hearing well take place unless a settlement is effected before that time.
